- Operations Relationship Specialist enhancing relationships with service providers and financial advisors. Supporting portfolio managers and resolving customer service issues in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Enhance relationships with key service providers, vendors, customers, financial advisors, and wholesaling staff.
- Provide timely support for portfolio managers, including working with institutional trading partners, monitoring as-of trading activity as well as any resulting fund impact.
- Act as a resource to fully resolve escalated customer and financial advisor service issues; perform root cause analysis, communicating resolution and taking action toward service recovery.
- Perform oversight of service providers based on operational guidelines and procedures related to responsibilities such as the year-end shareholder tax reporting process, direct business trade functions, fund pricing and distributions, and cash control.
- Provide appropriate information to the Operations Management team regarding potential servicing issues.
- Support internal and external audits; complete research requests from Transamerica's Legal and Compliance teams with an increased attention to detail and strong degree of precision.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.
- Two years of mutual fund or relationship/vendor management experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to establish and positively influence business relationships.
- Proficient using MS Office products.
