About the role

  • Business Manager responsible for driving sales growth and maintaining strong customer relationships. Involves strategic communication and collaboration to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve Sales Goals by delivering principals’ volume, share, and sales goals.
  • Strategic Communication with Retail Sales Managers and Marketing Managers to meet business objectives.
  • Leadership and Reporting to General Manager, managing Acosta introductions to new principals.
  • Relationship Building with principals and customers, fostering collaboration and success.
  • Team Collaboration on retail initiatives such as new product introductions.
  • Market Insight by coordinating market visits and key account calls.
  • Strategic Utilization of insights to develop conceptual sales presentations.
  • Feedback and Improvement on selling programs and initiatives.
  • Information Management by maintaining accurate distribution information and market reports.
  • Skill Development for personal growth and organizational capacity.
  • Compliance and Financial Management to ensure procedures and policies are followed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • A proven track-record in sales; preferably with a food broker or national company.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, negotiation, and sales skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales and marketing information needed to make effective sales presentations.
  • Proficient in a variety of software packages used to support the sales function.
  • Willing to travel.
