About the role

  • Product Manager at AccuWeather managing digital platforms and strategies for audience growth. Leading cross-functional teams to enhance consumer features and maximize revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver product and go-to-market strategies for digital offerings across all consumer segments.
  • Own outcome-based prioritization of initiatives and features, partnering with engineering to translate product intent into delivery plans, including active participation in sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and tradeoff decisions.
  • Lead market sizing and opportunity assessment, perform customer segmentation and needs analysis, and develop GTM strategies to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including design, engineering, marketing, sales, operations, and business development—to ensure a unified approach to product development and market execution, with clear product ownership over the “why” and “what,” and close partnership with engineering on the “how.”
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify strategic opportunities and potential threats.
  • Build and maintain robust financial models to support decision-making, forecast performance, and prioritize investment opportunities.
  • Define success metrics and analyze user behavior and business performance post-launch to inform roadmap and prioritization decisions.
  • Serve as a key voice in business development efforts, providing product insight and support for partnership and audience acquisition opportunities.
  • Communicate key findings, strategic recommendations, and performance updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in digital product management
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Digital Media, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Proven success in managing consumer-facing digital products across multiple platforms
  • Deep understanding of consumer digital ecosystems and monetization models, including advertising and subscriptions
  • Experience across product marketing, pricing, and communications, with a strong ability to resolve complex internal and external challenges
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and creative problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated experience in cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire across all levels of the organization
  • Skilled in financial analysis and scenario modeling to support strategic initiatives
