About the role

  • Human Resources Coordinator handling recruiting and employee relations at Accurant International. Focus on HRIS, compliance, and benefits administration in a growing company.

Responsibilities

  • Recruiting Support: Posting jobs, conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, and initiating background checks.
  • Onboarding/Offboarding: Coordinating new hire orientations, creating employee files, and processing termination paperwork.
  • HRIS and Record Maintenance: Updating employee data, ensuring confidentiality, and maintaining accurate, compliant digital employee files.
  • Benefits Support: Conduct new hire benefits meetings, benefit enrollment, QLE changes, and reconciling benefit invoices.
  • Employee Relations: Serving as the first point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Compliance: Ensuring I-9 compliance and staying updated on local/federal labor laws.
  • Assist with performance review process.
  • Participate in HR projects, initiatives, and events as needed.
  • Ability to establish trusting relationships with employees and company leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong HR experience with end-to-end HR administrative execution; 3+ years of HR experience required.
  • Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proven, hands-on experience with HRIS Systems.
  • Benefits administration experience including vendor partnership and employee support.
  • Experience managing leaves of absence and coordinating with third-party administrators.
  • Excel v-lookups and pivot tables a plus.
