About the role

  • Senior consultant at Access Partnership leading public affairs strategies and stakeholder relations for EU clients in Brussels. Engaging with EU institutions and enhancing brand visibility through strategic advice and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate high-stakes public affairs strategies and plans for clients, supporting their EU implementation in Brussels.
  • Providing senior-level advice on EU policy, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory risk, while acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Develop and execute strategies that enhance our brand reputation, strengthen market visibility, and support broader Access Partnership business objectives.
  • Drive growth of the Brussels office by targeting new business and expanding key client accounts.
  • Build and maintain influential networks and relationships with EU stakeholders, including in the EU institutions, trade associations, media and beyond.
  • Coordinate public affairs and advocacy efforts in cooperation with broader Access Partnership teams globally.
  • Ensure consistent and compelling delivery for clients and build commercial opportunities for growth of the EU offering at Access Partnership.
  • Support broader marketing of Access Partnership in Brussels via thought-leadership campaigns, events and across our digital platforms.
  • Support senior leadership with strategic counsel, executive positioning, thought leadership, and storytelling.
  • Oversee communication activities for events, digital engagement, and crisis management, ensuring compliance with legal and company policies.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of the EU institutions, legislative process and political dynamics, with around 8-10 years of EU experience in public affairs, strategic communications, or government relations environments.
  • Proven expertise in building new business opportunities and leading successful client accounts, both in terms of strategy implementation and commercial value.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences and markets, with ideally some background in digital and innovation policy.
  • A bonus would be experience of successful consultancy marketing and social media capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to link strategy to business results and organizational impact.
  • You have provide senior-level counsel and thought leadership to clients.
  • Fluent in English, with strong communication skills both orally and in writing. Additional languages are an asset.
