About the role

  • Sales Lead managing relationships and driving client acquisition for commodity derivatives exchange in Singapore. Focus on volume growth and revenue generation through strategic client engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Drive client acquisition, volume growth, and revenue generation across the exchange’s listed commodity derivatives
  • Build and manage relationships across all client types, focusing on International Clearing and Future Clearing Members (FCMs)
  • Execute sales strategies to grow trading volumes and open interest in listed commodity derivatives
  • Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with key client segments
  • Analyze client activity, market share, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities
  • Collect and distribute feedback internally via HubSpot platform and present regular business updates to management
  • Contribute to marketing campaigns, webinars, roadshows, and industry events to raise the profile of the exchange’s commodity franchise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 5–10+ years of experience in commodity derivatives sales or closely related roles at an exchange, clearing house or FCM
  • Strong understanding of derivatives, margining, and clearing
  • Demonstrated track record of building and managing institutional or corporate client relationships
  • Familiarity with exchange trading platforms, market data, and typical front-to-back workflows in derivatives markets.
