About the role

  • Credit Analyst managing profitability of gastronomy customer financing from application to contract end. Supporting sales directors while performing risk assessments and contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

  • As a Credit Analyst, you are responsible for the profitability of gastronomy customer financings and accompany them from application through to contract termination.
  • Provide advisory support to our hospitality field sales team on customer financing matters.
  • Support sales and area sales managers in preparing complex financing negotiations and applications.
  • Review, assess and approve financing applications from risk, plausibility and financial perspectives.
  • Participate in on-site contract negotiations with customers and lead these discussions with respect to risk and collateral.
  • Continuously monitor the performance of active contracts.
  • Identify underperforming or at-risk financings early, develop suitable solution proposals and assist with their implementation.
  • Manage contract terminations and support debt collection processes.
  • Act as an interface between Sales, Finance and the Contracts/Legal department and report to the Sales Finance Manager (GE).
  • Continuously observe market developments and trends in the target gastronomy sector and maintain regular exchange with colleagues in the sales region.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in economics/business administration and/or a commercial apprenticeship with specialization (banking, finance or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, creditworthiness assessment and risk evaluation.
  • Ideally, knowledge of, interest in and enthusiasm for the gastronomy/hospitality sector.
  • Knowledge of contract drafting, legal classification of contracting parties and collateral is desirable.
  • Confident appearance, assertiveness and negotiation skills.
  • Decisiveness, strong work ethic, flexibility and self-organization.
  • Stress tolerance, team orientation and service mindset.
  • Strong analytical skills and confident use of MS Office.
  • Good written and spoken English.
