Credit Analyst managing profitability of gastronomy customer financing from application to contract end. Supporting sales directors while performing risk assessments and contract negotiations.
Responsibilities
As a Credit Analyst, you are responsible for the profitability of gastronomy customer financings and accompany them from application through to contract termination.
Provide advisory support to our hospitality field sales team on customer financing matters.
Support sales and area sales managers in preparing complex financing negotiations and applications.
Review, assess and approve financing applications from risk, plausibility and financial perspectives.
Participate in on-site contract negotiations with customers and lead these discussions with respect to risk and collateral.
Continuously monitor the performance of active contracts.
Identify underperforming or at-risk financings early, develop suitable solution proposals and assist with their implementation.
Manage contract terminations and support debt collection processes.
Act as an interface between Sales, Finance and the Contracts/Legal department and report to the Sales Finance Manager (GE).
Continuously observe market developments and trends in the target gastronomy sector and maintain regular exchange with colleagues in the sales region.
Requirements
Completed degree in economics/business administration and/or a commercial apprenticeship with specialization (banking, finance or similar).
Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, creditworthiness assessment and risk evaluation.
Ideally, knowledge of, interest in and enthusiasm for the gastronomy/hospitality sector.
Knowledge of contract drafting, legal classification of contracting parties and collateral is desirable.
Confident appearance, assertiveness and negotiation skills.
Decisiveness, strong work ethic, flexibility and self-organization.
Stress tolerance, team orientation and service mindset.
Strong analytical skills and confident use of MS Office.
Good written and spoken English.
