Responsibilities
Execute a patient-centered approach to increase philanthropic support, visibility, and importance among the Duke Health patient population.
Establish a digital-first fundraising strategy for acquiring grateful patients.
Oversee the development and implementation of print and digital communications in coordination with internal partners and external vendors.
Generate solicitation content for mail, email, text, websites, and social media channels.
Encourage strategic use of donor and patient stories in all communications.
Coordinate with gift officers to facilitate outreach to grateful patients based on responses through the digital platform.
Assist departmental leadership in determining feasibility and funding strategies for new and ongoing programs.
Plan and establish goals to align with the direction and overall objectives.
Enhance grateful patient acquisition through personalized and consistent outreach.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree
3 years progressive fundraising/customer relations/marketing or sales and promotions experience
Proven verbal and written communication skills
Computer experience with Windows environment
Experience with developing communication journeys including mail, email, text, social, and other digital platforms
Understanding of fundraising databases and tracking mechanisms
Experience working in email, text, and web giving platforms strongly preferred
HTML and CSS experience a plus.
Occasional travel required.
OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE.
