About the role
- Lead and optimize Product Cost Accounting (PCA) processes across multiple Novartis manufacturing sites.
- Design, implement, and update lean PCA processes, SOPs, and training materials.
- Ensure accurate product costing, inventory valuation, and robust month-end closing activities.
- Oversee costing master data maintenance and drive cross-site consistency in material valuations.
- Analyze and approve product costing calculations and periodic costings; review revaluations and accounting adjustments in line with statutory requirements.
- Develop and deliver PCA reporting packages; ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Advise on accounting treatment for new launches, special projects, and production variances.
- Ensure accurate inventory valuation and oversee month-end closing activities, including product cost variance analysis, write-offs, provisions, COGS, and closing adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with Novartis policies, NFCM, SOX, and audit requirements.
- Build and develop PCA team capabilities through targeted training and coaching to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Univerzitetna izobrazba iz poslovne administracije, ekonomije ali financ; MBA je prednost.
- Tekoče znanje angleščine (pisno in govorno).
- Vsaj 5 let izkušenj na finančnih področjih v proizvodnji, po možnosti v okolju CoE.
- Dobro poznavanje in izkušnje z uporabo SAP.
- Agilnost in odpornost v dinamičnem, hitro spreminjajočem se okolju.
- Dokazana sposobnost učinkovitega dela v globalnem, medfunkcionalnem okolju.
- Prijavo oddajte z življenjepisom v slovenskem in angleškem jeziku.
- This role is based in Ljubljana, Slovenia or Prague, Czech Republic; Novartis is unable to offer relocation support for this role.
