Responsibilities
- The VP of Operations is responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the C&E business, ensuring seamless end-to-end processes that drive efficiency, scalability, and exceptional service delivery.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to all operational entities, aligning performance with business goals.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability.
- Act as the primary operational liaison between executive leadership and functional teams, leading initiatives that enhance productivity, profitability, and compliance across the organisation.
Requirements
- Strong understanding and hands on experience with production operations within the IT industry, ideally including IT Asset Disposition (ITAD), Data Protection and Refurbishment environments.
- Comprehensive knowledge of general business operations and how cross-functional processes impact performance, cost, and customer outcomes.
- Familiarity with ISO standards including ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), ISO 27001 (Information Security); knowledge of R2 (Responsible Recycling) certification is highly advantageous.
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety (H&S) principles; IOSH certification (or equivalent) desirable.
- Minimum 5+ years of senior management experience, leading diverse teams and multiple operational disciplines within a fast-paced or technical environment.
- Proven capability to manage complex operational departments, encompassing multiple disciplines and varying skill levels.
- Advanced planning, forecasting, and resource management skills, with the ability to align operational delivery to strategic objectives.
- Strong understanding of budget management and the ability to develop, monitor, and control departmental budgets to achieve financial targets.
