Warehouse Operations Supervisor leading operations for U.S. AutoForce in tire and auto part distribution. Overseeing staff, managing safety, and ensuring productivity in the warehouse.
Responsibilities
Provides leadership to assigned personnel through effective goal setting, performance reviews, delegation, and communication.
Provides measurable feedback, suggestions for improved performance and recognition for achievements.
Conducts interviews, hiring and training as necessary.
Supports the safety programs to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
Maintain a safe working environment for all associates.
Assists with process improvement initiatives.
Conducts regular meetings to ensure that personnel are well informed of policies and procedures.
Continually enforces productivity standards.
Ensure excellent customer service and communication.
Check in product completely and accurately.
Stock products correctly.
Pick product for daily deliveries along with special deliveries.
Load trucks using good judgment regarding use of space and product safety.
Inspect and physically count returned merchandise.
Restock inventory in appropriate place.
Paperwork for all warranty product.
Unloading of customer/inventory transfers from corporate warehouses.
Operate power equipment, including fork-lift.
Requirements
3 years of related experience
Skills and experience sufficient to supervise assistant receivers and helpers
Knowledge of or ability to learn computer systems
Willing to work overtime or flexible hours on short notice
Good memory and scanning abilities
Good communication and math skills
Able to lift up to 65 lbs. with the proper equipment and climb 20 feet on a regular basis
Able to learn to use a forklift
May require valid drivers license and conformance with company driver policy
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana)
