About the role
- Join as the first UX/UI Designer in a team of six full-stack Software Engineers
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (lawyers) to design and deliver Australian web applications
- Develop wireframes, designs and interactive prototypes using Figma, Miro and Whimsical
- Partner with product managers and developers to gather requirements, iterate on designs and ensure seamless handoff
- Conduct user research to understand user needs, pain points and goals
- Document design decisions, interactions and user flows for the development team
- Contribute to and maintain the design system and ensure adherence to brand guidelines
- Shape solutions from concept through to delivery and support product roadmaps
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in UX/UI design
- End-to-end product design experience (ideation to user testing)
- Proficiency with Figma, Miro and Whimsical
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing
- Strong visual design skills and ability to adhere to brand guidelines
- Ability to create wireframes, interactive prototypes and document user flows
- Collaboration and stakeholder management with engineers, product managers and leadership
- Data-backed approach to informing user needs and measuring success
- Strong communication skills and collaborative spirit
