About the role

  • Join as the first UX/UI Designer in a team of six full-stack Software Engineers
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (lawyers) to design and deliver Australian web applications
  • Develop wireframes, designs and interactive prototypes using Figma, Miro and Whimsical
  • Partner with product managers and developers to gather requirements, iterate on designs and ensure seamless handoff
  • Conduct user research to understand user needs, pain points and goals
  • Document design decisions, interactions and user flows for the development team
  • Contribute to and maintain the design system and ensure adherence to brand guidelines
  • Shape solutions from concept through to delivery and support product roadmaps

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in UX/UI design
  • End-to-end product design experience (ideation to user testing)
  • Proficiency with Figma, Miro and Whimsical
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing
  • Strong visual design skills and ability to adhere to brand guidelines
  • Ability to create wireframes, interactive prototypes and document user flows
  • Collaboration and stakeholder management with engineers, product managers and leadership
  • Data-backed approach to informing user needs and measuring success
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative spirit
