About the role

• User Experience (UX) Designer focused on optimizing web and mobile applications for healthcare technology. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user efficiency and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research to identify user workflow needs.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with customers, product managers and developers to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals.
• Perform usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
• Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines that ensure consistency across products.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to inform design strategies.
• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, clearly articulating design decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as graphic design, computer science, or marketing
• Mobile app design
• User Experience Design certification is a bonus
• Healthcare technology experience is a bonus
• 5+ years’ experience as a User Experience Designer, Interaction Designer, or similar role, with on-the-job experience or formal education such as a UX design certificate or degree.
• Portfolio showcasing several user experience projects and design solutions.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools used with React, React Native, and mobile apps, Figma, and the Material UI design library.
• Experience with user research methodologies, usability testing, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for close collaboration with developers.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Taste: has a breadth of experience considering how user goals inform workflows in web and mobile applications. Uses a variety of these applications and can use workflows from those apps as metaphor.
• Visually Sophisticated: Possesses a keen sense of design aesthetics, with a deep understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, and composition. Can apply design principles to create clear, effective, and well-designed user interfaces that meet user needs.
• Communication: Ability to communicate in a remote environment that strives to be diverse and inclusive in addition to clear written and verbal communication.
• Passionate: You want to make a positive difference in the global healthcare landscape.
