About the role

  • Design end-to-end user experiences for complex financial products used globally.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and design reviews to validate and refine solutions.
  • Partner with Product Managers, business analysts, and developers to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Implement accessibility (WCAG standards) and inclusive design practices.
  • Bring data and business sense to design decisions, aligning user needs with revenue and cost optimisation goals.
  • Leverage data visualization to simplify complex financial information.
  • Help drive UX and product maturity across the organization.
  • Research and bring forward new UX findings and insights to the team.
  • Run and take part in Service design workshops, journey mapping and strategic sessions.
  • Work with compliance team and assure we treat vulnerable customers fairly.
  • Create design artefacts using Figma.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a UX Designer in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Financial services experience or strong interest in financial products is a big plus.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UX process and design outcomes.
  • Expertise in Figma and Miro; familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
  • Analytical and logical thinker, used to gathering/analysing information for decision making and problem solving.
  • Operational improvements in the design process.
  • Solid understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design (WCAG standards).
  • Ability to interpret data and apply insights to design decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence to challenge ideas constructively.
  • Grit, ownership, and ability to work independently while collaborating globally.
  • Confidence to challenge others’ ideas and accept challenge to own ideas.
  • Willingness to be based in either Zurich or Edinburgh office for a minimum of three days a week (Hybrid).
