About the role

  • Territory Manager responsible for cold calling and managing accounts in Victoria. Opportunities for career advancement and perks including a company vehicle and medical benefits.

Responsibilities

  • proactively prospecting and cold calling new customers
  • managing existing accounts
  • selling various multi-channel solutions
  • maintaining the territory playbook
  • understanding customer needs
  • negotiating and closing deals in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • attend 4 to 6 auction sales, 1 to 2 days each within the region
  • travel overnight approximately 5 to 7 days per month to cover the territory

Requirements

  • 2 to 10 years in a structured outside/field sales role, and a consistent track record of meeting / exceeding quotas
  • valid driver’s license and clean driver’s record
  • Equipment Industry or Construction Equipment experience is preferred
  • Experience in quota-driven sales required (Industry experience/knowledge highly desirable)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Able to build and maintain authentic customer relationships
  • Competitive without sacrificing integrity
  • Work primarily from a home office and on the road
