About the role

  • Support the DLA LAN Support program in multiple locations
  • Work on-site in a hybrid setup on tasks assigned by work orders, incidents, or change requests
  • Implement standardization of NIPR and SIPR networks
  • Configure and deploy devices following DLA LAN standards
  • Provide technical support for enterprise-wide LAN technology refreshes and upgrades
  • Complete site surveys to confirm deployment requirements and facility limitations
  • Draft, maintain, and implement installation and technical design plans
  • Coordinate with Vendor PM, COTRs, and government user representatives for accurate solutions.

Requirements

  • 2 years’ network operations experience
  • Clearance: Secret
  • DoD 8570 IAT II Compliant Certification (i.e. CompTIA Sec+, CASP, CISSP, etc)
  • Cisco computing environment - CCNA, CCNP or CCIE
  • High School Diploma
  • Experience in managing the evaluation and cost estimation of voice and data LAN services from telecommunications carriers
  • Designing access and backbone networks using carrier services
  • Providing technical support for enterprise-wide LAN technology refreshes and upgrades.
