About the role

  • Technical Sales Manager responsible for client acquisition and support at Funkwerk. Driving technical solutions and customer relationships in the railway technology sector.

Responsibilities

  • Acquisition of new customers
  • Account management for existing customers and development of long-term business relationships
  • Technical consulting for customers, analyzing their requirements and developing suitable concepts and solutions
  • Preparation and drafting of technical proposals
  • Structured order entry
  • Follow-up through approval and support during price negotiations
  • Conducting product presentations and customer training
  • Supporting marketing with technical expertise
  • Participation in trade shows and industry events
  • Close collaboration with product management, development, service and production

Requirements

  • Degree or vocational training in electrical engineering, communications engineering, computer science, or industrial engineering/technical management
  • Experience in technical sales or project business is an advantage
  • Strong technical understanding and excellent communication skills
  • Independent, structured working style and willingness to travel
  • Very good German and good English skills
