About the role

  • Support several complex and high-volume customer systems.
  • Capture user stories and lead scrum team including backlog management and sprint planning.
  • Communicate and work with stakeholders to translate the business vision into actionable requirements.
  • Elicit, analyze, document, and validate requirements.
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings with clear agendas and keep participants on-track.
  • Create business and technical process and data flow diagrams.
  • Create clearly defined requirements as Epics and Features.
  • Create clearly defined user stories.
  • Manage and lead the product development process.
  • Keep customers and stakeholders informed of the status of the product.
  • Act as the main point of contact between SAFe Agile teams.
  • Manage and prioritize backlog items and optimizing the value of the product(s).
  • Assist the scrum/product development team to meet the objectives of each sprint.
  • Adjust and improve each iteration of the product before release.
  • Identify areas of improvement.
  • Coordinate across business and technical resources to get needed information on a timely basis.
  • Actively participate in daily scrum meeting to support requirements clarification and raise impediments impacting delivery.
  • Participate in Program Quarterly Incrementation Planning sessions to assess work and establish development goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, or related field
  • Minimum of three years of experience capturing and writing User Stories
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a system engineering or software application environment
  • U.S. Citizen with existing or the ability to pass a Public Trust background investigation.
  • Experience working in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or Agile/Iterative software development methodology including Scrum environment
  • Working knowledge of product development architecture
  • Proficiency in the use of analytic tools
  • Ability to prioritize effectively
  • Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles
  • Ability to work with large teams
  • Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to integrate information from multiple sources
  • Experience with Jira
  • Experience with Confluence.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work independently and interact regularly with government and non-government stakeholders at multiple levels of authority
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude.
  • Critical thinking, problem solving skills, written, and oral communication skills.
