About the role
- Consultant in application security solutions and lifecycle management for C-Serv. Engaging with global clients to enhance application security and provide pre-sales support.
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in the design, deployment, and integration of enterprise security solutions, including application security, bot defense, and web application firewalls.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor for customers, providing guidance on security best practices, architecture, and optimization strategies.
- Own the delivery of technical components for integration, including website analysis, configurations, testing, debugging, documentation, and go-live support.
- Identify technical risks and provide mitigation strategies to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, product management, and support, to ensure timely and high-quality technical solutions.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing efforts by documenting best practices, customer success stories, and internal technical resources.
- Provide ongoing post-deployment support and lifecycle management for customers, ensuring long-term success.
- Support pre-sales and proof-of-concept (PoC) engagements in coordination with the sales and technical teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 3+ years in technical consulting, professional services, or system integration.
- Strong knowledge of networking and load balancers (e.g., L4–L7, TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, TLS).
- Familiarity with one or more of the following will be a bonus: WAF, Bot Defense, API security, application delivery controllers, CDN, data center networking, or multi-cloud environments.
- Experience with F5 solutions or similar technologies is a plus.
- Industry certifications one or more of the following; CISSP, CEH, AWS/Azure Security, Kubernetes
- Self-driven, with strong troubleshooting and customer engagement skills.
- Excellent communication in both Japanese and English, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders from various regions and native Japanese customers.
