About the role

  • Produce particle systems, shaders and other visual effects for our games in Godot and Unity
  • Ensure a smooth development process from concept to finished feature
  • Convert image data and prepare it for use by programmers
  • Implement 3D assets and animations into the game engine
  • Support the Game Art team in creating high-performance assets
  • Optimize textures and ensure game stability by optimizing memory usage and performance
  • Develop tools and scripts to streamline the game engine workflow

Requirements

  • Degree in Media Informatics, Game Design or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience as a Technical Artist in game development
  • Proficiency in the programming languages C# and GDScript
  • Ideally, initial experience with a game engine such as Unity or Godot
  • Knowledge of shader programming
  • Experience with Blender or similar tools is desirable
  • Strong communication skills in German and English
  • Team player with a solution-oriented work style
