About the role

  • Develop, plan and implement the S&OP Supply Plan for a complex and/or high-volume portfolio
  • Balance and manage inventory, customer service requirements, and total cost to meet finished goods demand with optimized total delivered costs (TDC)
  • Manage inventory for new product launches and disposition of slow moving and obsolete finished goods
  • Develop production (rough cut) & inventory plans to meet finished goods demand via internal & co-pack operations network (capacity review)
  • Track case fill, perform root cause analysis and define corrective actions
  • Evaluate slow moving materials and excess inventories and recommend/implement corrective action plans, including Safety Stock analysis based on ABC segmentation
  • Daily management and problem-solving of supply and inventory plan variances, including unexpected demand, and communicate/actions with customer service, sales planning, marketing, operations and customers
  • Serve as Supply Chain lead on cross-functional teams for business development, operational excellence and capacity development; recommend and operationalize process improvements and cost reduction opportunities
  • Participate in driving supply planning execution for new business opportunities, new products, and product discontinuations
  • Participate and support the S&OP/IBP process (Supply Review/Escalation-Elevation of issues as needed)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Logistics, Materials Management, Operations, or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, trouble-shoot, problem solve and resolve complex issues
  • Demonstrated success leading and championing substantive business plan recommendations for senior divisional leadership
  • Ability to manage larger projects and/or process improvement initiatives with cross functional teams using advanced influencing & leadership skills
  • Strong communication, organization, and coaching skills
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, Power Point, Word, and SAP/ECC
  • Experience in PowerBI, MS Access and/or APO preferred
  • Materials Management experience preferred
  • Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written)
