About the role

  • The Supply Planner plays a vital role in successfully leading and communicating supply needs to manufacturing to achieve customer orders, forecasts, and stocking requirements.
  • Review and analyze current open demand against demand plan (forecast) to create supply/production plan
  • Supply/production plan developed by utilizing material lead times, stocking strategy requirements, production capability and requirements
  • Lead weekly supply planning meetings with supply chain roles relevant for process lane; including topics of performance-to-schedule, stocking position health, and any capacity/demand gaps identified
  • Regularly reviews mid-term plan to support changes in demand to ensure optimal supply levels
  • Optimized plan to support business KPIs; OnTime InFull (OTIF), Inventory Rotation, Net Operating Working Capital (NOWC)
  • Primary contact for commercial stakeholders regarding inquiries/issues related to plan for filling of orders and stocking positions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Accounting, Engineering, or another related supply chain field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a supply chain planning role
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel with excellent quantitative and data analysis skills.
  • Team and people oriented, professional and displays a “can-do“ attitude.
  • ERP planning experience required, SAP preferred
