Responsibilities
Coordinate the end-to-end movement of goods, including inbound and outbound shipments, to support business needs and customer requirements.
Utilize the Demand Flow system to track and manage inventory of supplies and oversee timely distribution to internal customer requests.
Assess and coordinate space preparation for incoming inventory.
Monitor Demand Flow dashboard activity to identify and correct Hot/Stale items. Accountable for operational metrics and required to provide details when needed.
Communicate with end users regarding product discontinuations/backorders/stock outs and provide follow up regarding issues.
Communicate with vendors regarding products, resolving supply issues.
Liaise with suppliers, carriers, warehouses, and internal teams to optimize delivery schedules and reduce transportation costs.
Resolve shipment exceptions, delays, and discrepancies to ensure continuity in supply chain operations.
Maintain the Demand Flow system, ensuring it meets the needs of end users.
Follow standard work processes and procedures defined in the Demand Flow technology and ensure that team associates are properly trained.
Responsible for scheduling of supply chain associates to provide 24/7 coverage for all Demand Flow operations.
Serve as co-owner for item master data, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.
Establish, update, and maintain item records in ERP and other inventory management systems, including SKUs, descriptions, classifications, pricing, and supplier details.
Work closely with procurement and Strategic Sourcing teams to handle new item introductions, changes, and discontinuations.
Audit, cleanse, and enrich item file data for consistency, eliminating duplicates and outdated information.
Support data migration and integration projects related to item files and logistics modules.
Additional site duties include: collect, sort, distribute incoming mail, meter outgoing mail, handle all third-party carrier deliveries.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum 1 year as a technician or specialist in Materials Management, Supply Chain, or Purchasing; experience in healthcare materials management is preferred
