Specialty Claims Adjuster responsible for managing Lifestyle claims including RVs and watercraft. Delivering exceptional service and supporting customers during challenging moments while ensuring compliance with company standards.
Responsibilities
Review and analyze policies, appraisals, and technical reports to assess claim value and negotiate fair settlements.
Effectively manage an active caseload of claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolution in line with Aviva’s standards, with customer service at the forefront.
Create outstanding experiences for our customers, turning stressful situations into positive moments.
Operate within your authority, using your judgment to resolve claims efficiently.
Maintain detailed, accurate file records and adhere to all Aviva Specialty Claims protocols.
Work closely with various teams to produce good claims outcomes, participate in projects, come with a growth mindset, and share feedback to help us continuously improve.
Requirements
Minimum 1-2+ years of previous claims adjusting experience.
Genuine interest in Lifestyle claims—whether it’s RV’s, travel trailers, or watercraft, we are looking for someone who is passionate about our products and getting our customers back to using them.
Progress toward or completion of the Insurance Institute Program (CIP/FCIP).
A post-secondary diploma or degree.
Provincial Licenses for the Atlantic provinces.
Prior Property, or Specialty claims (trailers, RVs, watercraft) experience.
Experience with and demonstrated ability to effectively handle complex and high value.
