About the role

Responsibilities

• Designing infrastructure and application architectures for secure, high-availability environments
• Leading technical discovery and translating customer needs into actionable designs
• Driving product and architecture roadmaps that align with strategic and commercial goals
• Supporting identity, access, and federated login systems for government and enterprise clients
• Ensuring solutions meet cybersecurity and compliance standards (e.g. NIST, ISO 27002, CIS Controls)
• Producing clear, actionable documentation including proposals, scopes of work, and risk assessments
• Collaborating with stakeholders to align solutions with strategic goals and product roadmaps
• Driving innovation in architecture to solve complex challenges in secure environments

Requirements

• Experience working in large-scale or regulated environments, where governance, compliance, and security are critical
• Experience designing and delivering solution architectures that meet both functional and non-functional requirements
• Experience shaping product and architecture roadmaps aligned with business strategy
• Experience designing and integrating APIs and web services across complex platforms
• Hands-on cloud architecture or migration experience, particularly with AWS-native services
• Experience architecting secure IP telephony solutions, including protocol-level design and service architecture
• Experience navigating governance and security sign-off processes, particularly in enterprise or public sector settings
• Experience applying cybersecurity principles to infrastructure and application design
• Experience collaborating directly with customers and stakeholders to shape and deliver technical solutions
• Experience integrating systems using APIs, web services, and cloud-native technologies
