About the role

• Manage a team of 10 to 20 Onsite Service Representatives facilitating customer inventory management for Grainger. Oversee leadership and resource management to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 10 to 20 Onsite Service Representatives/Specialists who maintain inventory in customer accounts helping customers save time and money
• Use Grainger network to collaborate within multiple teams to achieve results
• Implement Leader Plan which includes assessing and prioritizing, coaching and teaching, hiring top talent
• Promote great team member engagement, support team member development
• Manage projects by allocating resources ensuring return on investment and profitability
• Understand market conditions and trends and customer requirements to provide appropriate direction and guidance to the broader organization
• Ensure the right solutions and resources are being offered/deployed to customers
• Ensure excellent customer survey satisfaction levels.

Requirements

• 5+ years' manufacturing or industrial business experience with direct leadership experience
• Understanding of financial and economic concepts
• Experience leading in a matrixed environment
• Experience building and working within different teams
• Strength in process improvement, ownership and control and project management
• Experience leading and working towards goals with a remote team
• Ability to be in the field in the Sacramento area three days a week coaching your team.
