Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Tech Lead to design, implement, and deliver robust, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions
• Actively contribute to project planning and estimation sessions, both internally and with clients
• Provide accurate time and effort estimates for assigned tasks and deliverables
• Decompose complex features into well-defined, manageable development tasks
• Optimize web application performance to ensure responsiveness, scalability, and a seamless user experience
• Participate in peer code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and consistency
• Mentor and support junior engineers, promoting technical excellence and professional growth within the team
• Champion clean code principles, software engineering best practices, and a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements

• Strong programming skills in Python web development with any of the following frameworks: Django, FastAPI, Flask
• Willingness to engage in full-stack development and contribute across the stack as needed
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and knowledge of CI/CD practices
• Familiarity with Docker
• Familiarity working with databases and ORMs (SqlAlchemy, Django ORM, Tortoise ORM, etc)
• Cloud platform expertise: Experience with at least one major cloud provider (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is fundamental, including an understanding of their services for building and managing applications
• Strong command of English, both written and verbal
