About the role

  • Senior UX/UI Product Designer at Bloom taking full ownership of the design function for impactful user experiences. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create user-centered designs in a fast-growing market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop low-fidelity UX wireframes and user flows to effectively communicate interaction and design concepts
  • Create and refine user-friendly high-fidelity visual UI designs in Figma to ensure smooth handoffs to engineering
  • Conduct product discovery and qualitative research in close collaboration with product, engineering, and other business teams to understand our users, their needs, and pain points
  • Build prototypes for user testing and sales demonstrations
  • Define design guidelines, best practices, and standards (including Figma design systems) based on existing definitions
  • Present designs and key milestone deliverables to colleagues and leadership
  • Support marketing efforts by creating visual assets and campaign materials
  • Guide external design resources to ensure a consistent brand and visual identity
  • Commit to continuous learning to stay up to date with the latest design trends and technologies

Requirements

  • At least 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer in a product company
  • Strong skills in wireframing, UX principles, and usability testing
  • Extensive experience crafting user experiences and user interfaces for both desktop and mobile applications
  • Hands-on experience with Figma, including best practices for maintaining designs
  • Experience conducting qualitative research and product discovery
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams (engineering, design, product) in an agile environment
  • High emotional intelligence, empathy, and an engaged, enthusiastic demeanor, with the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Previous experience in an (early) startup environment is a plus
  • Fluent in English (C1 level); German skills are a plus
