About the role
- UX/UI Designer focusing on visual design, usability, and collaboration in a travel tech environment. Contributing to a digital design system for managing rental properties globally.
Responsibilities
- Excellence in UI/Visual Design (~70% of the time) – Act as the guardian of our Design System, translating complex requirements into intuitive, aesthetically pleasing flows and interfaces, ensuring fast, high-quality deliverables for the development team.
- Active support in Research – Collaborate with the Research specialist, assisting in preparing scripts, recruiting users, and especially conducting and analyzing usability tests to validate interfaces before deployment.
- Facilitation and collaboration – Actively participate in agile ceremonies, organize design tasks, and serve as a direct bridge between Product, Engineering and the Research team, ensuring Design Thinking is present throughout all stages of the development cycle.
Requirements
- High-level UI/Prototyping – Proven proficiency in Figma, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating and maintaining Design Systems.
- Generalist mindset – Ability to move between UX stages (basic research, prototyping, testing) and UI (final visual execution).
- Hands-on experience – Solid track record working with Digital Product, preferably in B2B or SaaS environments.
- Clear communication to present and defend design decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Product thinking, understanding business metrics and how Design impacts outcomes.
- Knowledge of or experience with front-end development (primarily HTML and CSS).
