About the role

  • Product Designer responsible for UX/UI design and supporting platform evolution for Pelmorex, enhancing user experience across products. Collaborating with teams to deliver design excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Platform Evolution: Support the design and iteration of core product features, ensuring a seamless and accessible user experience across mobile and web as we modernize our digital ecosystem.
  • Systems Thinking: Contribute to the application and maintenance of our design system, ensuring visual consistency and UI excellence across all touchpoints.
  • Integrated Marketing & Sales Support: Support marketing and sales initiatives across our B2C and B2B products. You will create high-fidelity mocks for our brands, client sponsorships, brand partnerships, seasonal forecasts and more.
  • Rapid Prototyping: Build interactive prototypes to communicate design intent to engineering and to test concepts with real users.
  • Collaborative Execution: Work within an Agile environment, collaborating closely with Product and Engineering to ensure design integrity from concept to launch.

Requirements

  • Experience: 1–3 years of professional design experience (iOS, Android, or Web).
  • Portfolio: A digital portfolio showcasing published contemporary web and mobile projects, with a clear eye for typography, layout, and "marketing-adjacent" creative.
  • Contemporary Tooling: Strong knowledge of **Figma** (Auto-layout, Variables, and Component architecture) and **Adobe Creative Cloud** (Photoshop/Illustrator).
  • Technical Literacy: Functional knowledge of **iOS and Android** design patterns.
  • Understanding of how designs translate to modern frameworks like **React** and **React Native**.
  • Strong grasp of **CSS3**; familiarity with utility-first frameworks (like **Tailwind**) is a major plus.
  • User-Centered Mindset: A solid understanding of usability and accessibility best practices and experience conducting (or assisting with) user research and testing.
  • Sales & Sponsorship Savvy: Experience working with sales or account teams to execute branded projects, ad units, or partner-specific design executions.
  • Data-Heavy Design (Bonus): Experience or interest in information design—specifically how to display complex data (e.g., weather or analytical data) simply and beautifully.
