About the role

  • Develop and lead the global social media strategy aligned with brand and commercial objectives.
  • Own quarterly and annual planning cycles for social media initiatives.
  • Align organic social strategy with paid media and influencer marketing.
  • Develop strategy for organic social media across channels on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest & Facebook.
  • Partner with influencer and ecommerce team on social selling strategy across TikTok and Instagram.
  • Stay ahead of social trends, algorithms, and emerging platforms to keep the brand culturally relevant.
  • Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly content planning, photoshoots, video production, and all social content across each platform to ensure consistent tone and aesthetics.
  • Ensure content aligns with product launches, campaigns, and retail priorities.
  • Lead community management efforts to foster engagement and brand loyalty.
  • Champion platform experimentation and trend adoption.
  • Own creator relationships with constantly expanding the network, ensuring briefing is up to standards and content is on brand.
  • Lead on white listing and sparking in collaboration with paid team.
  • Build and nurture a vibrant online community; engage with followers, creators, and fans authentically.
  • Collaborate with Customer Experience to ensure social channels reflect brand values and deliver exceptional service.
  • Own social media KPIs and reporting frameworks.
  • Deeply understand TikTok, Meta, Google and other relevant platforms.
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends, translating insights into actionable strategies.
  • Collaborate with paid media and e-commerce teams to drive traffic and conversion.
  • Lead and mentor the social media team, fostering growth and ensuring high performance.
  • Collaborate with Brand, Creative, PR, and Commercial teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
  • Build strong relationships with external partners, including influencer platforms and content creators.
  • Represent the brand in external forums, panels, or industry events.
  • Ensure all business accounts are verified, up-to-date, and documented.
  • Maintain a central repository of platform credentials, performance benchmarks, and best practices.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in social media roles, ideally within beauty, fashion, or lifestyle sectors.
  • Proven success in leading global social media strategies and teams.
  • Strong understanding of all major social platforms and their evolving algorithms.
  • Experience managing budgets and external partners.
  • A passion for beauty and digital storytelling.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
