Responsibilities
- Plan, create and execute automated tests (UI, API, regression, integration);
- Perform manual functional testing (exploratory, regression and smoke tests);
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress or Playwright;
- Test REST and SOAP APIs using tools like Postman, SoapUI or libraries such as RestAssured;
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies (daily, planning, review, retrospective);
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.);
- Collaborate with developers, Product Owners and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliveries;
- Apply BDD/TDD practices with frameworks such as Cucumber, Behave or similar;
- Write and maintain test scenarios in Gherkin;
- Perform database queries and validations using SQL;
- Support the definition of test strategy and quality coverage throughout the development cycle.
Requirements
- Solid experience with manual functional testing;
- Knowledge of UI and API test automation;
- Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or equivalent tools;
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Python or Java;
- Experience testing REST and SOAP APIs using Postman, RestAssured or similar tools;
- Familiarity with CI/CD and integrating tests into pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps);
- Experience with Git and version control;
- Knowledge of BDD/TDD and use of Cucumber or similar tools;
- Experience with Gherkin for writing test scenarios;
- SQL knowledge for data validation and querying.
