About the role

  • Senior Product Manager for KAYAK focusing on SEO user journeys and enhancing user experience. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive impactful improvements and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product experience and user journey for SEO/SEM users, defining and communicating priorities that support KAYAK’s product vision and closing known gaps in functionality and content.
  • Manage a product roadmap committed to achieving goals, driving impact, and improving UX, making informed decisions independently when backed by data-driven insights.
  • Act as the voice of the user while balancing needs with business goals, monitoring the competitive landscape, and staying informed about both travel and e-commerce spaces.
  • Drive continuous improvement through learning loops: A/B and multivariate experiments, results, iteration, and insights synthesis.
  • Lead CRO efforts by identifying user pain points across landing pages and funnels, running experiments, and implementing improvements that increase conversion.
  • Utilise AI tools as part of your day-to-day work to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Be a part of a highly skilled SEO team, working with Product Managers, SEO Analysts, and Engineering to deliver products used by millions of users in 40+ markets every day.
  • Translate validated problems into clear, actionable solutions and requirements in collaboration with SEO, Design, and Engineering.
  • Foster strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders and collaborators, ensuring shared ownership of outcomes and advocating for SEO/SEM user needs across the full user funnel.
  • Identify and prioritize user and business problems through qualitative and quantitative data, crafting requirements that facilitate meaningful improvements.
  • Lead projects end-to-end: establish requirements, write product and feature specifications, build and maintain project plans, prioritize scope, and proactively mitigate risks.
  • Project manage initiatives beyond core product work when needed, showing flexibility to keep team priorities moving forward.

Requirements

  • You have a technical understanding without being a developer.
  • You are structured and analytical, with strong quantitative skills and the ability to make data-informed decisions.
  • You have experience with product analytics tools/user-testing (e.g. FullStory, Hotjar, component tracking) and can extract insights to guide improvements.
  • You have a proactive, results-driven approach and take strong ownership of problems.
  • You excel at turning ambiguous or complex projects into clear, actionable plans that teams can execute against.
  • You are comfortable working in agile environments (scrum/kanban) and can help bring structure to complex projects.
  • You can write clear briefs and well-thought-out product requirements, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You know how to align product opportunities with business goals and communicate them clearly.
  • You can provide thoughtful design/engineering specifications feedback, considering details, edge cases, and technical feasibility.
  • You thrive in cross-functional collaboration, working with stakeholders across teams, levels, and time zones.
  • You bring a consumer-focused mindset, ideally with e-commerce or B2C experience.
  • Experience working with SEO or marketing teams is a plus.
