About the role
- Senior Network Engineer responsible for designing and implementing network infrastructure for Bare Metal Cloud Services. Collaborate with product engineering and infrastructure operations teams to ensure network performance and security.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement network infrastructure solutions that support our Bare Metal Cloud Services;
- Monitor network performance and capacity and identify areas for improvement;
- Configure and troubleshoot BGP and OSPF routing protocols;
- Work closely with the development, operations, and network operations to ensure that the network infrastructure meets their requirements;
- Participate in the planning and execution of network-related projects;
- Document operational processes, technical procedures, and network designs and configurations;
- Keep up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and trends and make recommendations for improvements to our network infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field;
- At least 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on design, implementation, and maintenance of complex network infrastructures;
- Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus and Juniper routing;
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools in complex network topologies like Zabbix and Grafana;
- Self-learning capability and quick absorption of new technologies;
- Experience with VXLAN and Linux automation with command-line proficiency will be a plus;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Able to work with autonomy and proactivity;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Experience in both operational and project environments, with the adaptability to balance operational demands and project work;
- Advanced English communication skills (B2 level or above).
