About the role
- Senior Research Manager working with Food & Beverage clients at Ipsos. Leading custom research projects and delivering insights to understand business challenges.
Responsibilities
- Manage Food & Beverage clients from two of the largest syndicated consumption tracking studies in Canada
- Understand and address business needs/issues of respective clients
- Manage multiple survey-based market research projects at once
- Design plan analyses
- Analyze data and draw conclusions; prepare reports and presentations; make recommendations based on insights
- Assist in proposal development with senior colleagues as needed
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships through exceptional service and consultation
- May act as manager to one or more Account Managers/Research Analysts
Requirements
- 5+ years relevant experience (supplier side market research preferred)
- Experience working with Food & Beverage and/or Foodservice is an asset
- Requires strong quantitative, research, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to turn data into insights through analysis and storytelling
- Ability to oversee and direct multiple projects
- Must be self-motivated and entrepreneurial (i.e., ability to think independently)
- Intellectually curious with a desire to better understand the “why” behind the data
- Works well in a team environment with senior and junior colleagues
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to review the work of others for grammar, formatting, and voice
- Bachelor’s Degree required – market research, marketing, and/or business coursework/programs are an asset
