About the role
- Lead the strategy, design, and execution of complex finance transformation programs, including process re-engineering and technology implementation
- Champion the use of AI-powered automation and intelligent agents to streamline processes and improve efficiency across the Controllership and Finance organization
- Drive the continuous improvement of reporting processes, leveraging advanced analytics tools to provide deeper insights into financial performance and support strategic decision making
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize opportunities for process improvement and automation
- Develop and implement change management and communication plans to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies
- Serve as a subject matter expert on best practices in finance transformation, enablement, and technology
- Collaborate with team members across the business, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- MBA, CPA or advanced degree is a plus
- 8+ years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on finance transformation, process improvement, or strategy
- Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale finance projects
- Experience at a large publicly traded company or major consulting firm preferred
- Understanding of SOX and Compliance frameworks for publicly traded companies
- Deep expertise in financial systems, analytics and technology
- Experience with Workday Financials, Salesforce, and Tableau is a plus
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
