Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly analyses of financial results, including variances against budget
- Provide explanations and recommendations for financial gap closure
- Prepare annual budget and validate data into the financial budgeting model
- Monitor key financial metrics and provide insights to optimize performance
- Drive OPEX budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for R&D departments
- Collaborate with Product Managers for NPI financial feasibility evaluations
- Analyze channel performance and profitability with the sales team
- Provide financial support for sales forecasting and planning processes
Requirements
- BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant experience within the consumer electronics or technology industry
- Proven experience and knowledge of accounting concepts and financial statement construction
- Advanced Excel skills: ability to create complex functions, lookups, and pivot tables
- Data-focused: ability to acquire, analyze, and leverage data to drive forecasting and identify risks and opportunities
- Attention to Detail: meticulous review of financial data and reports for accuracy and precision
- Multi-tasking: ability to manage multiple projects and anticipate workload impacts
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
