Responsibilities
Lead business development efforts within the biotech and pharma sectors, identifying and pursuing new CDx partnership opportunities.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to design and propose innovative, customized solutions that meet client needs.
Act as a technical and commercial liaison, translating complex scientific concepts into actionable business strategies.
Support the biotech business development team by managing requests for proposals, pricing strategies, and project costing.
Provide market insights and feedback to influence product development and strategic direction.
Requirements
Either a scientific background with a PhD and direct experience in Genomic R&D, or at least 5 years of industry experience in R&D, preferably with hands-on expertise in NGS workflows, including wet lab experience such as capture or bioinformatics pipeline analysis
Previous exposure to commercial conversations for an NGS Dx or CDx product highly valuable.
Strong technical knowledge combined with creativity and problem-solving skills to design and propose custom solutions tailored to client needs
Commercial acumen with a drive to contribute to business development and revenue growth through a commission-based incentive structure
