About the role
- Senior IT Systems Administrator responsible for administration and development of hybrid IT infrastructure at IMMAC group in Hamburg. Managing Microsoft cloud environment and supporting IT users in 2nd and 3rd level.
Responsibilities
- Administration and further development of the hybrid IT infrastructure
- Support and further development of the Microsoft cloud environment (M365 / Azure) and SaaS solutions
- Server landscape (virtual and physical), storage, Veeam backup
- Identity and access management and administration of Active Directory and Entra ID
- Windows core services (Active Directory, GPO, Remote Desktop/Terminal Services, DNS, DHCP, Print, PKI)
- Monitoring the IT environment with PRTG
- Support, maintenance, training and consulting for IT users at 2nd and 3rd level
- Creation and maintenance of (technical) documentation (using Docusnap and orgavision)
- Specialization in several of the following areas:
- Network technology (Aruba), firewall (FortiGate), NAC (modernized 2022/23)
- Client/Mobile Device Management (Windows, macOS, iOS) with Microsoft Intune
- Telephony with Microsoft Teams Phone System
- MS SQL and middleware (modernized 2022/23)
- IT security (Defender, NAC, email gateway, Kentix, CA/MFA, patch management, awareness, etc.)
- Support and further development of business software solutions
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration, a degree in computer science, or equivalent qualification, and at least 3 years of practical professional experience in a comparable role
- Very good IT knowledge and a strong technical understanding
- Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies
- Practical experience with Microsoft Azure and M365
- Good hardware knowledge in servers, clients and network technology
- Solid operating system knowledge (Windows Server and Windows clients)
- Good knowledge in AD, DNS, GPO, PKI, DHCP and terminal services
- Experience in IT consulting and implementation projects
- Enjoyment of conceptual work, organization and structured documentation
- Customer- and service-oriented working style with high commitment
- Enjoys teamwork as well as communication and knowledge sharing with IT colleagues
- Independent, precise and structured working style
- Very good German language skills, both spoken and written; ideally also good English.
