About the role

  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining technology infrastructure
  • Define, implement and maintain overall IT services, procedures, and processes
  • Direct daily operations of the IT department
  • Develop computer information resources to provide data security and control
  • Manage Linux and Windows servers
  • Manage M365 environment for user management and access control
  • Manage Atlassian JIRA and Bitbucket
  • Manage and optimize AWS accounts
  • Manage building access control and backup power systems
  • Oversee operational budget and expenditures
  • Consult with users, management, vendors, and IT employees
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships

Requirements

  • >3 years of field experience
  • >3 years of IT experience
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and programming
  • Microsoft Active Directory experience
  • Knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation of networking systems
  • Detailed knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Knowledge of business and management principles
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal service
  • Database Administration & SQL
  • Ability to write bash or powershell scripts
  • Virtual machine management and configuration
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services
  • Troubleshooting skills
