Owns and manages assigned portfolio driving profitable growth to achieve financial and operational targets.\n• Prospects and appoints new Foremost Independent Agencies and develops agency partnerships.\n• Develops and executes territory tactical plans and agency management processes (business planning, training, compensation).\n• Acts as primary relationship between agency and company; serves as trusted advisor delivering product, underwriting philosophy, appetite, and system training.\n• Creates, maintains, and executes agency strategies to achieve written premium, profit, and new business goals.\n• Collaborates with field distribution partners on carrier consolidation, storefront expansion, and new product rollout support.\n• Drives quality of new business flow, appropriate mix of business, and overall risk management across portfolio.\n• Utilizes internal reporting, Marketing and Development programs, and production/profitability data and analysis.\n• Serves as resource to internal partners (underwriting, product management, claims, service ops) to identify opportunities and solve problems.\n• Mentors or coaches less experienced team members and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent required.\n• Bachelors degree preferred.\n• State insurance license preferred upon hire.\n• Minimum five years of experience required in insurance distribution.\n• Experience achieving profitable premium growth and sales success.\n• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.\n• May require regular travel between Farmers offices, alternative work locations, and/or field locations.\n• Must meet employment eligibility under 18 U.S.C. Section 1033 restrictions (no felony involving dishonesty) where applicable.
