Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic financial partner to the GTECH (IT) organization and other assigned business areas
Generate business profitability reports for all lines of business
Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes by collaborating with cross-functional business partners
Support the development of executive-level communications pertaining to budgets, forecasts, and year-end financial results
Lead monthly forecasting and variance analysis for assigned areas
Leverage technology systems and tools and explore opportunities to incorporate AI-driven solutions
Provide financial support for technology-related initiatives and projects
Administer the time tracking system to ensure alignment with the organization’s software development process
Contribute to product profitability analysis and pricing strategies
Assist with financial components of Business Plans, Business Cases, and Project Plans
Participate in testing system applications for new releases or internal enhancements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on corporate finance and accounting
MBA or Professional certifications (CPA, CMA) preferred
Minimum of 5 years (3 years with MBA or Professional certification) work experience in a position(s) requiring analytical and forecasting skills
Financial and accounting skills, including preparing financial models, pricing analysis, journal entries, and reconciling balance sheets and cash flows
Experience working in a global environment with multiple currencies and time zones preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work across all management levels
Strong excel skills are required
Knowledge of systems including ERP, CRM, BI & Analytics platforms, and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiar with tools such as NetSuite, Adaptive, Workday, Replicon, Power BI, and AI-powered productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT or similar) is a plus
