About the role

  • Support month/year end close activities
  • Prepare and publish MIS on Monthly, Quarterly & Annual basis
  • OPEX reporting: variance analysis and coordination with stakeholders for final reporting to Management
  • Collaborate with internal departments to obtain inputs for accounting entries in a timely manner
  • Lease and fixed asset accounting as per GAAP (US/India/Philippines)
  • Perform account reconciliations
  • Provide relevant and correct information to internal and external auditors
  • Drive automation tasks; create templates; run tests for databases; collaborate on automation initiatives
  • General ledger review; analysis/recordation of monthly entries in coordination with Business unit heads
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to complete audits
  • Assume independent responsibilities for assignments, identify and resolve issues, recommend process improvements and eliminate non-value add processes

Requirements

  • CA inter, Chartered Accountant, Commerce Post graduate
  • 2-4 years work exp
  • Proficient in Oracle and MS Office
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
  • Experience handling Accounting, Financials, and Reporting activities
  • Lease accounting as per US GAAP and Ind AS (and Philippines GAAP mentioned)
  • Fixed asset accounting
  • Account reconciliation experience
  • Experience with automation projects and template/database testing
  • Ability to coordinate with internal and external auditors
  • Willingness to work 2 PM to 11 PM shift
