About the role
- Senior Backend Developer (Golang) at DATATRONiQ, a pioneering deep-tech industrial IoT startup. Develop and maintain microservices on AI-driven IoT platform in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Work in an agile environment to implement microservices and Kubernetes operators; be curious about new technologies
- Implement new features for multiple applications and services using Golang and keep all projects continuously up to date
- Advocate for high-quality code and value good tests and coverage; occasionally write or improve tools to further automate manual steps
- Actively participate in decision-making about how we build new features and contribute to the product roadmap
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or a similar field
- Strong programming skills and solid experience with agile software development
- Previous experience working with Golang, testing and CI/CD, and other programming languages
- Openness to new technologies
- Excellent written and spoken English; German is a plus
- High level of commitment, initiative and enthusiasm for IT
- Bonus (not required): familiarity with technologies such as Python, TypeScript, Docker/Kubernetes, end-to-end testing and Linux
