About the role

  • Own creative strategy and execution for high-impact client portfolio with monthly ad spend of $50K-$300K per client
  • Develop and execute creative strategies that consistently achieve 2x ROAS and exceed client growth targets by 30-50%
  • Execute deep research and data mining to understand value propositions, customer reviews, and market opportunities that translate into high-converting creative
  • Develop and manage testing roadmaps with structured creative testing processes that identify winning concepts with 85%+ accuracy
  • Design creative testing frameworks that identify winning concepts across Meta & TikTok
  • Create detailed creative briefs for internal design teams to execute performance-driven creative for paid social advertising across Meta & TikTok
  • Mentor and collaborate with other creative strategists while identifying performance gaps and opportunities across client accounts that you apply to optimize your own portfolio
  • Present strategic creative roadmaps and performance insights to C-suite executives
  • Lead creative research initiatives across a myriad of DTC verticals, identifying trends and opportunities
  • Build scalable creative production workflows that maintain brand consistency while achieving on-target CPAs
  • Own creative strategy responsibility for $1.5M+ in annual agency revenue through performance-driven creative excellence
  • Build comprehensive shot lists and creative decks for UGC content shoots that drive authentic, high-converting assets
  • Find and manage content creator relationships across multiple verticals to ensure a consistent creative pipeline
  • Develop high-impact ad copy for headlines and in-ad text that captures attention and drives immediate action
  • Work on landing page optimization to improve conversion rates and maximize campaign ROI
  • Track performance metrics and key KPIs of each creative to understand what is working, iterate on winning concepts, and report actionable insights back to internal and external parties
  • Lead team training and SOP development to scale creative operations while maintaining quality and consistency standards

Requirements

  • 5+ years creative strategy experience for accounts spending $50,000+ monthly on paid social advertising
  • Expert-level Meta creative strategy with documented success in ideation, testing, and scaling winning concepts
  • Proven track record scaling creative performance from $5,000 to $50,000+ monthly through systematic iterative testing
  • Experience leading design and video editing teams from strategic brief development through final creative execution and approval
  • Data-driven decision-making abilities to interpret performance metrics and optimize creative strategy based on results
  • Meticulous attention to detail in brief creation and client approval processes that prevent costly revisions
  • Deep understanding of the customer journey and how strategic storytelling drives conversions at each stage of the funnel
  • Expert direct response copywriting skills that strengthen brand narratives and enhance creative performance
  • Proficiency with Facebook Ads Manager, Shopify, Google Analytics, Figma, Motion, project management tools (Slack/Asana/Notion), and Foreplay
  • Client-facing presentation experience communicating creative strategy and performance insights to executives
  • Advanced proficiency with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) for creative ideation and strategic optimization.
