Creative Strategist leading global accounts at Spotify's creative agency. Focusing on brand storytelling and collaboration with major clients in tech and CPG sectors.
Responsibilities
Together with the Head of EMEA & Global Accounts, support Creative Lab in producing the most effective concepts, positioning, and creative solutions for Global Accounts across CPG, Tech and Telco among other sectors.
Build and deliver global ideas, presentations, playbooks, creative frameworks, narratives to guide our biggest clients in getting the most out of their storytelling
Encourage and inform both internal and external groups about the impact of creativity in linking brands to their audiences
Manage the global accounts books of businesses and collaborate with heads of global agencies on the strategic direction. The objective is to establish a world-class advertising platform.
Work alongside clients and agencies to produce award-winning advertising on Spotify at scale
Support operational responsibilities including account and resource management and tracking and reporting of objectives and key results, processes within the team and with cross-functional teams as it relates to global accounts
Identify, develop and maintain a unique position for Spotify’s creative offerings and deliver them in a compelling way to convince partners to explore solutions with us
Develop, plan and scale approach to supporting top clients; driving approach to JBP support and coordination. This includes owning the account strategy and prioritization development with our global account partners
Facilitate inspirational workshops with senior-level partners to find the right balance of boundary-pushing creative expression and brand realities
Collaborate closely with other groups inside the Creative Lab, including the operations and production team that delivers outstanding craft and implementation for clients. Also work with the creative intelligence team, which partners with insights and data science teams to identify effective creative guidelines. This informs the creation of top-quality, impactful campaigns on Spotify. Additionally, engage with a strong group of global creative leads across various subject areas.
Requirements
8-12+ years working in creative direction and strategy within a tech platform; creative agency background is strongly preferred; in-house brand experience is beneficial but optional.
Experience collaborating with CPG and Tech brands is a plus
Experience working across different markets and geographies; understands that cultural nuances are a must in considering creative ideation
Experience working with senior-level collaborators and clients at agencies and brands
Superlative cross-functional partnership skills that will help align our sales, marketing and product partners to our vision while supporting overall goals of the business
Excellent presenter who can adapt from a small room of CMOs and CCOs to a large audience of industry experts. They inspire everyone toward creative storytelling on Spotify Ads.
Experience managing and operationalizing creative teams including managing budgets, process and ways of working internally and externally
Exceptionally organized with robust operational capabilities and the capacity to collaborate across different time zones and markets
Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and across collaborators in business marketing, brand, and product teams to build consensus on shared initiatives
Keen observer and documenter of culture, with a keen understanding of what is relevant and the ability to identify upcoming visual, digital and tech trends
Expert written and verbal communicator, capable of expressing abstract creative concepts clearly and influencing audiences when necessary
Deep understanding of integrated marketing development, tech platforms and social media landscape, with experience in digital-first production
