About the role

  • Lead the development of innovative, data-led performance creative strategies for D2C and e-commerce brands across Meta and TikTok.
  • Oversee the creative testing roadmap and ensure insights are scaled across multiple client accounts.
  • Partner closely with the Head of Strategy, Media Buying, and Production Leads to refine and evolve Hambi Media’s creative frameworks.
  • Act as the senior strategic lead on key client accounts — shaping creative direction, briefing creative concepts, and presenting strategies to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and review work from junior and midweight strategists, providing training, feedback, and development opportunities.
  • Use creative performance data to inform actionable insights, refine testing processes, and drive continual creative improvement.
  • Write, edit, and oversee ad copy, scripts, and creative briefs — ensuring psychological and strategic depth in every concept.
  • Identify emerging creative trends, market opportunities, and behavioural insights to keep clients at the forefront of performance creative.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with account management, media buying, and production teams to deliver fully integrated creative strategies.
  • Contribute to new business development and pitch strategy, representing Hambi Media’s creative philosophy with confidence and clarity.
  • Participate in quarterly creative performance reviews, translating insights into agency-wide learnings.
  • Help shape the department’s long-term vision, internal processes, and standards for excellence.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in creative strategy, paid social, or digital marketing (agency experience preferred).
  • Proven success in developing and scaling performance creative strategies for Meta or TikTok campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting creative data to inform strategy.
  • Proven experience leading client strategy, mentoring team members, and collaborating across departments.
  • Deep understanding of performance marketing principles, buyer psychology, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with confidence presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong project management ability, capable of leading multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Experience scripting, briefing, and conceptualising creative across UGC, motion, and design formats.
  • A proactive, commercial mindset with a passion for creativity that drives measurable results.
