Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the strategy to build highly reliable and scalable data and analytics cloud platforms
- Lead the creation and implementation of repeatable and reusable frameworks for delivering Data and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions
- Establish architecture best practices, along with comprehensive standards and guidelines
- Lead, design and implement Self-Service frameworks that empower business units
- Develop Cloud economics frameworks that effectively monitor and analyze cloud costs
- Develop advanced hands-on Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs)
- Own all communication and collaboration channels pertaining to assigned projects
- Establish working relationship with vendors (Technology and Consulting) and partners
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 10+ years of experience with Data Warehousing, Databases and Data Modelling technologies and services
- 5+ years of experience leading and designing highly scalable cloud architecture patterns and frameworks
- 5+ years of experience working on AWS Data and Analytics tool stack (e.g., S3, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, EMR, Redshift, Kinesis, Open Search and others) or Databricks
- 5+ years of experience in coding languages such as Python, Spark, R, SQL or other equivalent programming languages
