- Senior Cloud Administrator managing Microsoft Cloud infrastructure (Azure) and overseeing IT services. Collaborating with project stakeholders and optimizing existing cloud architectures for efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for operating, maintaining, developing and optimizing the existing Microsoft Cloud infrastructure (Azure)
- Manage the IT infrastructure and make decisions that affect the overall solution
- Advise project stakeholders and translate business requirements into designs for cloud and hybrid solutions
- Implement the associated IT architecture and cloud resources
- Design governance and monitoring solutions; data storage and infrastructure solutions; identity solutions and business continuity solutions in collaboration with IT, security experts, network specialists, data architects, DevOps and external service providers
- Ensure end-user support for hardware and software environments
- Install, configure and maintain hardware and software components and provide sustainable resolution of issues
- Manage users in Azure Active Directory (AAD/Entra) and endpoints in Microsoft Endpoint Manager
- Contribute to the design and implementation of IT service processes
Requirements
- Successfully completed vocational training as an IT specialist or equivalent
- Several years of professional experience in a relevant industrial environment and extensive hands-on experience
- Knowledge of general IT operations, including networking, virtualization, identity, business continuity, governance, data platforms, and preferably security and disaster recovery
- Experience and expertise in designing, implementing and administering Microsoft Cloud/Azure infrastructure, architectures and resources
- Scripting skills, preferably in PowerShell, and confident handling of Intune and Entra
- Experience working with Intune, Microsoft 365 and SharePoint
- Experience in ITSM (e.g. ITIL)
- Good English and German language skills
