About the role
- Partner with stakeholders to plan their annual spend for outside goods and services\n• Develop Insulet-wide and department-focused sourcing strategies for high-value outside services\n• Lead RFP/RFQ processes and subsequent selection processes and negotiations for complex services\n• Develop standard and customized RFP/RFQ processes to drive optimal supplier selection and value\n• Lead contract and pricing negotiations with suppliers and manage contract amendments\n• Lead cross-functional teams engaging with suppliers on issues and continuous improvement\n• Identify, create and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders\n• Coordinate RFP/RFQ processes, bid reviews, awards and execution including contracting\n• Serve as the single point of contact for suppliers providing direction and feedback\n• Perform other duties as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance or related field preferred)\n• MBA preferred and/or equivalent combination of education and experience\n• Professional certification (C.P.M., CPSM) a plus\n• 10+ years of related Procurement and strategic sourcing experience\n• Demonstrated purchasing expertise and knowledge in indirect sourcing categories\n• Experience using SAP, MS Office, SharePoint, eProcurement and eSourcing systems/tools\n• Experience leading multicultural teams in a global, fast-paced environment preferred\n• Flexible, experienced negotiator\n• Ability to quickly understand business requirements and translate into sourcing strategies\n• Experience leading RFP/RFQ processes, bid reviews, and supplier selection\n• Experience leading contract and pricing negotiations and contract amendments\n• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment\n• Travel up to 20% domestic and international\n• Eligible for hybrid working arrangements and required to work on-site from an Insulet office
